There are three ways to pray it. Choose whichever suits you.

Each salutation followed by one Our Father and three Hail Marys. The chaplet as it has been prayed since 1751.

Salutations only

The nine invocations alone, unadorned. Shorter, and the oldest bones of the devotion.

An escort of nine angels, one from each choir, when approaching Holy Communion.
The continued assistance of the holy angels through life.
And deliverance from Purgatory, for the one who prays it and for their relations.
This third promise belongs to a specifically Catholic understanding of what follows death. It is set down here as it was handed on.

Held by this devotion since 1751, when it was given to the Carmelite Antónia d'Astónaco, and approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851.
